What does Nullius in verba mean?
This is the motto of the Royal Society of London.
These three words refer to Horace when he wrote Nullius addictus judicare in verba magistri : let no one defer to the word of a master. In other words, do not accept any argument from authority. An even freer translation would be: learn only with reservations.
Why support Nullius in Verba Editions?
Because we are pioneers in ethical publishing.
Most publishers pay the creator of the work between 7 and 13% of the sale price, which corresponds to approximately 15-20% of the profit. This results in a paradoxical system: the publisher lives off the books he or she publishes, the distributor on the books he or she distributes, the bookseller on the books he or she sells, and the critic on the books he or she reviews, but the writer cannot live off the books he or she writes.
At Nullius in Verba Publishing , we're changing the rules: we donate 50% of sales profits directly to the author. In this way, we help promote their work in a fair and equitable manner.
What are our shipping rates?
We operate on a flat rate.
For mainland France and Canada, our shipping rate is fixed: €2.99, regardless of the quantity of books you order.
For other destinations, our shipping rate is fixed: €3.99, regardless of the quantity of books you order.
What are our delivery times?
For mainland France and Quebec, 99% of our deliveries are made in less than 5 working days.
For other countries, it depends a little on where you are! Please note that we promise to ship your order within 24 business hours, and it will always be by air!
What if I made a mistake?

If the order is not shipped, we will refund you immediately. If you are within the withdrawal period (see the General Conditions of Sale ), we will refund you upon receipt of your return. In any case, we will find a solution together!
